moofasa
Mmkay, I boot up into install using the Zephyroth disk, works fine.. I go to the disk utility, but it only sees the first 128gb of my hdd, I have a 300GB and my leopard partition is the last 20gb [so it doesn't see that partition] ..How do I fix this? [its not a Sata drive] I have a biostar 7025 mobo. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/90873-need-install-to-see-partition/ Share on other sites
wahwahman89
Its a problem with your BIOS settings. Search around the forum, people will tell you how to fix it. I know about the issue, just not precisely how to solve it. [its not a Sata drive] I have a biostar 7025 mobo. I had this problem on my old rig, which has an SiS-based chipset. I first installed OSX on a partition ending before the first 128GB. Once this was done, I `installed' a kext which allowed me to access it in its entirety. Maybe you'll have to do something similar. From the Biostar website I found out your motherboard has a nForce630a(MCP68S) chipset. I'd search the forums for this, and see what gives... Oh, and I recommend you install OSX on a primary partition; I've had problems before (unable to boot OSX) when I installed it on a secondary (logical) partition. Best of luck, 3phemeral Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/90873-need-install-to-see-partition/#findComment-649099 Share on other sites
