I finally found a distro that would load the install on my computer , sager 4750. it was uphucks distro 10.4.9 universal v1.3 couldn't find a leapord distro to work(kept getting waiting for root device something like that). Anyway, everything is running atm, only things I need to fix is my ati 9700 mobility I cant change resolutions !!! but the main issue is the wireless nic.

With in mac its saying its a pci14e4 , 4311 card Airport Brcm43xx but in windows its a Gigabyte GN-WIAG / GN-WPEAG , I know its a GN-WIAG card ven 168 , dev 0013.

So at this point I have no clue how to get this card to work I have read and tried different kexts, changed info.plists etc.. nothing seems to work I hope someone can point me in the right direction.

It shows 3 devices in the NetworkInterfaces.plist , 1 is the brcm43xx at en1 (set didnt have to change ) , reltek nic and firewire, another thing I don't get is when I go to Network , it gives me 3 options to setup a network none are Airport, its Serial, ethernet and firewire.

Well I hope someone can help.

Thanks again chunkd.

oh, my bluetooth works go figure still can't get my wireless card going !!! I wish I knew the chipset of this card then I could just use those kext and edit .plists because it looks like OSX is not putting the right driver in.
