nenad5
I want to try FreeBSD, beside MacOSX. I have MacOSX installed on one drive with efi (guid partition), and want to install FreeBSD on another disk. Is it possible to boot Mac OSX on guid partition from FreeBSD partition, or is it possible vice versa, booting FreeBSD from MacOSX? P.S. Machine is pc hackintosh.... Well, I use Grub on Linux to boot both FreeBSD and OS X. Just setting up 7.0 now. I don't think the FreeBSD bootloader would work, but FreeBSD does let you run Grub as your bootloader instead. If you do that, then you should be able to copy boot_v8 to your FreeBSD file system and start it from Grub, just like I do from Linux. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...508&hl=grub Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/90729-macosx-and-freebsd-dual-boot/#findComment-648143 Share on other sites
