sherlok
Hey guys, I posted in Equates patch thread but thought I'd do this as well. Basically I installed using iatkos 1.0i r2 which installed successfully, but even after the aprtition was flaggged to boot in gparted, it still wouldn't boot (blinking cursor bug). So I stumbled upon equates patch that apparently fixed these issues, patched and reburned the dvd (all md5's checked out), but now when I go to install the installer boots, however it doesn't see my drive. I'm dedicating my entire drive to the install (running off a liveCD right now), and I've tried it formatted as ext3 (which previously worked), unallocated, fat32 and nfts to no avail. Upon booting with -v I get a couple weird things along the lines of jettisoning kernel linker -- another error in here I can't recall, unable to link something or other maybe? -- kextd[47] root file system is read only Here are some stats Dell Inspiron 1420 notebook Nvidia 8400m 2gigs ram 150g WD hard drive any help would be appreciated. Software Updater
Did you set the drive as MBR? If not you need to. Then try repairing the MBR.
