I have an HP Compaq 530 SFF. It has a 2.8 Prescott (SSE3 and HT) and the motherboard chipset is the Intel 82865. I am using onboard graphics.

At bootup it shows like 7MB of VRAM on the card at the 1st OS X Screen, where you choose the partition. In Windows and Linux I have more, though.

When I try to boot w.out safemode, it will say it can't Initialize VRAM, and I also notice some ICH5 errors about USB.

Any ideas? What can I do to track down what is making it only work in safe mode? I'm used to Macs, but only on 'normal' PPC hardware, so you can't get technical if you want.

Thanks!
