cyrana
I have an HP Compaq 530 SFF. It has a 2.8 Prescott (SSE3 and HT) and the motherboard chipset is the Intel 82865. I am using onboard graphics. At bootup it shows like 7MB of VRAM on the card at the 1st OS X Screen, where you choose the partition. In Windows and Linux I have more, though. When I try to boot w.out safemode, it will say it can't Initialize VRAM, and I also notice some ICH5 errors about USB. Any ideas? What can I do to track down what is making it only work in safe mode? I'm used to Macs, but only on 'normal' PPC hardware, so you can't get technical if you want. Thanks! cyrana
Thanks, skq. I'd looked before, but I wasn't sure if it was applicable to 865 chipsets since it mentioned 910 and 915 and all...
