megavolkan
if you two are using an "IDE drive in an External USB Box" then you wont be able to like i wasn't. The only solution is to get a SATA DVD drive. It will work believe me (mine worked and it's worth every cent i paid ) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/90524-comapplebootplist-error-stays-even-with-usb-dvd/#findComment-646179 Share on other sites

dudedb
I'm getting the same error. Only it's slightly different. I'm using a Dell Latitude D620 Core 2 Duo 1.66Ghz, 2GB RAM, 120GB SATA hard drive. I bought a new WD 160GB SATA hard drive to install the Kalyway OS. All that works fine. But when I put the old 120GB drive back into the machine, I get the System config file ‘/com.apple.Boot.plist not found error. I managed to get it to work before. Does it have anything to do with patching? Thanks Dudedb Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/90524-comapplebootplist-error-stays-even-with-usb-dvd/#findComment-856172 Share on other sites
