jbjonas
check the wiki hcl. Issues for sure with some SATA controllers, and I think with your chipset. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/9024-install-woes/#findComment-56092 Share on other sites

jbjonas
You're not- it can be hard to find some things... If you go to : http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...rt#Motherboards you'll see the ATI Radeon Xpress 200 Chipset listed for a number of the motherboards. They all say that Sil3112A SATA HDD not detected So even though this HCL is for 10.4.1, I would say it's safe to assume that your problem in installing 10.4.3 is with the Sil3112A SATA chipset not working, so it can't see you Hard Drive! Try using a PATA IDE hard drive- that works for most people. I know, it sucks- but consider yourself lucky if SATA is your only problem with it (I'm not the biggest fan of HP) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/9024-install-woes/#findComment-56123 Share on other sites
