reruns Posted February 26, 2008 Share Posted February 26, 2008 HI I installed ToH Leopard 10.5.1, after I backed up appleacpiplatform kext extension. I restored to factory default settings with a kalyway package. I then upgraded to 10.5.2 with Kalyway combo update. I rebooted -boot hangs at revolving circle so I have to press reset on machine . Bootup took me to desktop ,I then installed graphics update. Again rebooted and it hung again , I pressed reset. It rebooted with no problems and went to desktop. Now what else would I need to do to fix the hangs at reboots and it also crashes at system profiler. I have a P4 2ghz northwood cpu ,and gigabyte mobo. I have a ati 9800 pro video card (i know old but still working), and a creative audigy 2 sound card.I also have a realtek sound card on mobo which is turned off for vista.
