mccartyk
Hi all, First of all thanks to all of you posting here for your help and insight into making this work! I recently installed Leopard on my Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 using Kalyway's new 10.5.1 installation DVD with no problems. today I upgraded to 10.5.2 with *seemingly* no problems except this: the OS seems to "hang" during boot. The screen seems to flicker, followed by the "spinning apple" freezing for up to 2 minutes before it finally boots up. I was just curious if anyone else has experienced this after updating. Thanks for any info! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/90191-leopard-hanging-after-update/ Share on other sites
Schweppes
Do you installed the Kalyway 9.2.0 kernel after 10.5.2 update or you still use 9.1.0 kernel ??? Search on PirateB... the 9.2.0 Kalyway kernel Update, will fix your problem... mccartyk
I found a link to AMD's 10.5.2 installer and saw some comments on the Intel 10.5.2 torrent site that said that you could update to 9.2.0 using the AMD version. Is this correct? If not can someone point me to where I can find the update? Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/90191-leopard-hanging-after-update/#findComment-643439 Share on other sites
mccartyk
The 9.2.0 installer included in the AMD 10.5.2 worked like a charm! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/90191-leopard-hanging-after-update/#findComment-644261 Share on other sites
