Reporting 10.5.2 Success MSI P965

Another day another success

 

Thanks to great Kaly and who worked hard for this to happen.

 

My specs:

 

- MSI P965 Neo board with ICH8 south bridge

- Pentium D 820 2.8GHz 800MHz FSB

- MSI NX8800 GTS 320MB (Reported 256 MB)

- SATA DVD, SATA HDDs with no IDE components at all

 

I have upgraded from an EFI, non Vanilla installation, GUID partititon, Kalyway 10.5.1

 

1- Flawlessly upgraded to 10.5.2 using KalywayCombo Hack 10.5.2

2- Restarted, successfully booted into desktop, repaired permissions restart, (seemed freezed at gray apple with spinning circle stopped, massive HDD reading for almost 3 minutes, then desktop showed, everything was working)

3- Installed Kalyway 10.5.2 Kernel pack, repaired permissions

4- Restarted, successfully booted, XBench crashed every time at openGL test!

5- Using Software Update, installed Leopard Graphics Update, no problem, permissions repaired, and manually restarted.

 

XBench scored a total from 82.84 to 98.37
