ATTN: New Hardware Information Here

This thread is for Posting Zipped up files that contain hardware information about your systems.

 

(You have to install linux or if you want to try to use a LiveCD find a guide about how to save your proc folder which is in the root directory when Linux is installed)

 

This information I feel might be useful to developers who are working on drivers or even to yourself to modify existing drivers with proper information.

 

Please post the model of your laptop and or hardware information along with your file.

 

Also before posting this information please use the search in the forums to make sure that your hardware cannot be confirmed working by someone. Also you may even want to visit the IRC channels to see if there is additional help there. There is no reason to post proc files for someone to look through if there might already be a working solution out there. I have exhausted all alternative solutions though and have visted the IRC chat rooms as well.

pm965 chipset (currently only works with 1 core, I hope this post helps fix that!!)

ACL882 audio

Gigabit ethernet(not sure on the specifics)

 

What needs resolving is ACPI issues and getting dual cores to work, maybe the same issue?
