MERLIN2049ER
Hi , after installing the kalyway 10.5.2 update, booting the mac os x hangs for a while. I booted it in verbose mode, and found out it was hanging on NTFS-fs error (/dev/disk2s1) I'm getting; failed to read page error 5 - ntfs_page_map() & ntfs_page_in() Any suggestions? TIA, JG Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/89990-ntfs-fs-errors/ Share on other sites

Enrico1985
if you don't need NTFS support you could try deleting the NTFS filesystem KEXT and recognizer so OSX will skip ntfs partitions altogether Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/89990-ntfs-fs-errors/#findComment-1112657 Share on other sites
