m.a.t.1991
Hi, i've been trying back and forth with all kinds of tricks and I just can't get 10.5.1 Kalyway to install and boot properly. Maybe someone here has another idea... I use this PC: - Motherboard: Asus P5LD2 - CPU: Intel D920 - 2GB Memory - GeCube X1950Pro Graphics - Samsung Spinpoint 500GB T166 Sata Harddrive I install the Kalyway DVD with these settings: - MBR Boot - Vanilla completely off - Graphics ATY X19x0 Driver - Audio HDA882 These are the settings that get me through the installation without it stopping one minute before the end and rebooting. With these settings I see the "Completed Installation" screen... But when I boot after the installation, the gray background shows and the round circle comes up, and after a few seconds it gives me the error messages in many languages, saying "You need to restart your computer..." Any idea what I can do from here on? Thanks, Mat Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/89719-1051-kalyway-kernel-panic-while-booting/ Share on other sites
