benkoe
Hi, I am (attempting) to dual boot vista and kalyway 10.5.1 on the same hd. Both are installed, and using the chain0 method i am able to boot into vista normally (the vista partition is the active one). However, when I choose to boot into mac os x, it will appear to be loading and the gray screen with the apple logo and spinning black thing will be there, but after about 30 seconds or less i'll get an error that I need to restart my computer (the generic os x restart error in multiple languages). I've tried the many boot options such as -x, -v, -s, vanilla, -legacy, etc... and none work. This is both with the kalyway dvd in and not in, speedstep enabled and disabled. I have read it may be a graphics incompatability? System specs are: Dell Latitude D600 Intel Pentium M (centrino)1.8ghz with SSe2 ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 2gb RAM Vista Business and Kalyway 10.5.1 intel sse2_sse3 (any more info needed?) Kalyway install method: efi_MBR (hd is partitioned as MBR so i'm sure thats right - i couldnt even get this far using efi_guid) SSe2 system According to http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...es#Latitude_600 there is supposed to be a kernel panic after the install but I have yet to run into this. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thank You Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/89695-mac-os-x-wont-boot/ Share on other sites
