BlackedOutLeopard
Hello, i have a Dell Latitude D430. I ran Kalyway Leopard 10.5.1's install. About 1 week ago found out that you can't select drivers from the menu or it wont work! Ok so now that it is installed sometimes it boots up the first time and sometimes it boots up like 7 restarts later. Not only that it crashes on the desktop like 10 times a day! If if i can even start the operating system. I installed the 10.5.2 combo update today. Everything ran smooth. Restarted... Worked! Then installed the kernal for 10.5.2 from kalyway. Then i connected my Laptop up to my monitor and changed the res to 1280 x 1024 it worked for alittle bit then it blacks out! Then when i change it back to the laptop screen its a picture with 1 icon and everything pushed together! The laptop runs a Core Duo intel 2.4 i think. Can anyone help me out! Now it wont boot into the opearing system! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/89533-leopard-wont-boot-up-all-the-time/ Share on other sites
bredroll
This sounds like a problem some kernels have with dual core, disable it in the BIOS and it should boot every time Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/89533-leopard-wont-boot-up-all-the-time/#findComment-1252801 Share on other sites
