Here are my system specs.

Dual Channel DDR2 2048 Ram

Running Windows Vista Home Premium

Hey guys, I have already tried to dual boot three times using this guide.

http://inihilist.wordpress.com/2008/01/07/...and-fool-proof/

I follow this guide to the letter. But to no avail, I have done three system resets today trying to figure this out.

I create the partition and reboot the computer with that partition active.

Now I start my computer and I get my normal Toshiba startup screen.

Then it blanks out and I get a double "ll" looking sign in my top left corner and it does nothing.

I then tried to reboot the computer and booted from the iATKOS v1.0 iso dvd and it brings up the Darwin boot loader and I press f8.

Then the boot loader comes up asking what to do, I press -v. This brings up more lines of file, and eventually a new screen comes in and more lines of file loading (this is a brighter white font, describing mac kernels and the MAC system framework. It stops 3/4 the way down the screen, the last line ended like this "reproduced osx3". I'm nots sure exactly what it said but it sat for over and hour before I turned it off and tried again.

I did the above three times over, each getting a line of code or a black screen with the double "ll" looking symbol.

I also tried boot loading without typing -v in darwin and I got a grey screen with the apple logo in the middle, it sat for an hour before I turned it off and tried again.

I have looked on here and found nothing with these symptoms, I didnt want to do this again and get the same outcome.

Should I try to load leopard a different way?

I have vista up and running just trying to figure out what to do.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

Thanks, this looks promising. Just a couple of quick questions.

DoI need to have leopard already installed?

Do I need to partition my drive?

Or does this just program do everything.

At the moment I only have vista running and no extra partitions.

This is an easy way:

- Buy a new hdd

- Install Tiger/Leo on it

- At first booting after install, using F8 on your keyboard to select the new one- Voila... LOL :P
