I've read a few posts on this forum trying to get an answer but soon I realized I'm not used to Hackintosh terms and stuff like that :D

I need to know the easiest way to get Leopard on the following System:

Processor:

AMD Athlon 64 3800+

Motherboard:

ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe

Memory:

4x512MB DDR400 PC3200

Graphics Card:

XFX Geforce 6600GT 256MB GDDR3 (a special and limited edition from XFX that brought 256MB instead of the regular 128MB)

Hard Drive:

Seagate 200GB SATA-I 7200RPM 8MB CACHE

Sound Card:

Onboard (Realtek ALC850)

Power Supply:

Eurotech 460W Silent

I need to know ether I should use the NVIDIA NIC ou the Marvell one... On Windows (and Linux) I use NVIDIA integrated NIC but if doesn't work on Mac OS X I may switch to Marvell's... secondly what about sound? How to get it, etc...

Basically I want to know which is the best Mac OS X version to get and which (and how) patches will I need to apply to get a fully working system...

Zephyroth's 10.5.2 would be best for you. I'm running 10.5.1 with Eddie's 10.5.2 update so I can't guarentee everything will work out of the box with the new release.

Audio should work out of the box and I'm using the Marvel Yukon for net but it seems the new releases has a fixed forcedeth kext so both LAN ports should be good to go.

Good luck and if you need any help ask here or at http://osx.kbot.de/
