Hi all.

So with the new Leopard OSX86 I figured I would try one more time to get this bad boy working (I have been trying on and off for over a year to get it installed).

So usually what ends up happening is I think my DVD drive on my laptop isn't doing so well. I generally run things from a USB DVD drive but my BIOS doesn't read this until Windows starts so I can't use that as an option.

Generally it either messes up during the installation process, or it finishes but when I try and boot if tells me an error has occured and i need to restart. So I'm thinking the installation just isn't happening well at all.

So then, what other options are there for me as I really want to get this working this time. I remember a while ago that it was possible to install through VMWare and actually then be able to boot into this. Is this still possible? I don't just want it to be a virtual drive through VMWare as I don't see much point in that. Plus I want to dual boot with Vista.

For the record my specs are:

Dell Inspiron 9100

ATI Radeon 9800 256M

1gig ram

P4 4.2

Any advice is greatly appreciated. Please help me achieve my year long struggle!
