PlayingKarrde
Hi all. So with the new Leopard OSX86 I figured I would try one more time to get this bad boy working (I have been trying on and off for over a year to get it installed). So usually what ends up happening is I think my DVD drive on my laptop isn't doing so well. I generally run things from a USB DVD drive but my BIOS doesn't read this until Windows starts so I can't use that as an option. Generally it either messes up during the installation process, or it finishes but when I try and boot if tells me an error has occured and i need to restart. So I'm thinking the installation just isn't happening well at all. So then, what other options are there for me as I really want to get this working this time. I remember a while ago that it was possible to install through VMWare and actually then be able to boot into this. Is this still possible? I don't just want it to be a virtual drive through VMWare as I don't see much point in that. Plus I want to dual boot with Vista. For the record my specs are: Dell Inspiron 9100 ATI Radeon 9800 256M 1gig ram P4 4.2 Any advice is greatly appreciated. Please help me achieve my year long struggle! PlayingKarrde
By the way I'm running iATKOS v1.0 but not sure if that is relevant.
