partyhunter
Hey Guys I need your help, I have Leo 10.5.2 Kalyway with MBR sheme installed on a partition. on another partition is Vista 32 bit. My problem is that I can`t transfer data from leo to the windows partition and reverse. In addition to this I cant write data on an external HDD but i can read the stuff.... Has this problem to do with the MBR sheme??? How can I solve this problem?? P.S.: apple says: I haven got the permission to change data. I use dual boot that`s why I choose the MBR sheme. I haven't played with it too much, but I'm pretty sure OSX cannot write to NTFS partitions. I'll be that's your issue. There are 3rd party solutions like MacFuse and http://www.ntfs-3g.org/, but I haven't tested any myself. Zetsubou
Basically what the guy said ahead of me. Mac doesn't come with out of the box support for ntfs, you should just have to install macfuse and ntfs-3g(latest versions) and you should be able to read andwriet to ntfs partitions. Worked with just installing for me.(really needed it too cuz most of my drive are ntfs.)
