No netowrking or workgroup in Kalyway

I have my 10.5.2 updated Kalyway on a Gateway laptop that is connecting to the network through a broadcom wireless card. I am trying to make the hackintosh available on my workgroup. I found many tutorials on the web on how to set up the workgroup but they all talk about options which do not seem to be on Kalyway. Those include a "Directory Access" utility. Under sharing there are not the three options "Services, firewall, internet". It seems to be a modified version of the Services tag. Under that, there is no "Windows Sharing" option. Also, under the "finder" there is no network option along the left hand side. Has anyone been able to netowrk computers and browse and share files? It would be nice to see a tutorial.
