AustinS
First, my computer is a Asus W7J Core2Duo 1.6ghz you can see it's similar specs at http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...tables#Asus_W7J So I installed using MBR method instead of GUID(otherwise I got b0 error). well if I DONT do vanilla then it doesn't work, if I do, it boots without the HPET error. so what does this mean? Can I just install vanilla then use the standard 10.5.2 update from apple? I tried using the kalyway update and when it rebooted it started getting the HPET error. I also looked for the AppleCPUPowerManagement.kext and it isn't even in the extensions directory. Also my biggest issue is that the mouse and keyboard quit working when I boot into 10.5.1 for the first time. I read somewhere that it might fix when I install 10.5.2. So where do I go from here? Would the "vanilla" 10.5.2 update mean just downloading it from apple? Would this work? I didn't install any drivers with the install, not even the video card and it worked perfectly. Also is it possible to get a battery monitor? Also does standby work for anyone? thanks for you time!
