ixion Posted February 21, 2008 Share Posted February 21, 2008 Hi, I was hoping somebody could help me out with my wireless card. I have a 3Com 3CRPAG175 with is based on the Atheros 5002X chipset. I have not been able to find any info about getting this card to work (or other atheros 5002 cards) when connected via PCMCIA I have my cardbus working after applying a kext and the card shows up in the cardbus manager thing in the top right (power off etc) The vendor and device id's are as follows device id 0013 vendor id a727 My cardbus shows up as pci1180,476 I have tried installing the IO80211family.kext from 10.4.5 but that hasn't done anything the card doesnt show up in ifconfig so its not a airport configuration issue - I know how to address those I have tried adding pci1180,0013 to the strings in the AirPortAtheros5424.kext (even though Im not sure which vendor ID I should be adding to the strings line - it wont load if I have a727 in there) Any help appreciated!
