NightStash
Hey guys this is my first attempt at a Leopard install on my laptop.I have a HP DV9500 with a core 2 duo. I used the Kalyway 10.5.1 dvd and installed leopard to my second hard drive in my laptop. I used the mbr.efi. I then booted into vista and used easyBCD to enrtry for my mac partioned hd. I restarted and attempted to boot leopard. It's starts to boot and then i get a gray screen that tells me to restart. I used the -v option to try and see what happened but it stops at a differnt spot every time. Any ideas? Thanks. Peppie
Could one of the lines of text possibly say "Extension com.driver.apple.ACPIPlatform has immediate dependencies on both com.apple.kernel and com.apple.kpi components; use only one extension" ? Same laptop as you, installed on 2nd hard drive like you. If this is so, then you are screwed because no one seems to know what this means or how to fix it. I briefly thought that I had to flash my bios, but that didnt solve it.
