superxao
I followed this tutorial; http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...c=66962&hl= and OS X installed fine. I didn't use partitions, because I just wanted to try OS X as a main OS (am thinking of getting a MacBook). I used a different version of OS X to Moe's.. "Mac OS X v10.4.8 - JaS AMD Intel SSE2 SSE3 incl. PPF1". I downloaded the drivers Moe posted, and I installed the Audio drivers. They went in fine. Then I did the video drivers, but when i rebooted it kept saying I had to restart, so I reinstalled, and tried again - I must've copied the 0x as well as the device ID. Anyway, I tried them again, and now it just lingers on the loading screen. I also tried the wireless and that didn't work.. I didn't know the device ID so I used the default one, which could be the problem. Also, when I try and replace the powermanagement.bundle with the new one, it asks me to type in my password, so I do, and it says I don't have the correct permissions. So, any help would be appreciated, thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/88881-acer-aspire-5051-drivers-and-such/ Share on other sites
