Stoiker Posted February 20, 2008 Share Posted February 20, 2008 Hello ! Big problems ;-) I can install the Kalyway 10.5.1 on my PC System and boot OSX the first time. But when i reboot the bootloader freezes My System: Mainboard: Asus P4P800 SE CPU: P4 3 Ghz HT Graphic: Geforce 5900 FX Ram: 1 Gig HDD: 1 IDE 80 Gig as GUID There are further problems: The Network Card (Realtek 8139) should work out of the box according to Wiki... it works .... but resiecevs many pakage errors No Hotplugin for USB under 10.5.1 , I disconnected the Keyboard and reconnect it doesn´t recognize it When I boot from the Kalyway DVD my USB Harddrive is not connected Questions: Do I need to patch the .kext for the Network Card ? IS there any solution out there for the boot problem ? (Brazil Patch is only for non bootable installations i guess .) Can I Install the Kalyway under my OS X and make the install "faster" ? (20 min waiting is a pain in the ass when you want to solve problems ... ;-) ) thx Ad: I didn´t Use the vanila kernel. Stoiker Posted February 20, 2008 Author Share Posted February 20, 2008 Ok the freeze problem is solved ..... repair of the permissions with the Install DVD did the trick But the network problem still exists. Realtek 8139D .... Stoiker Posted February 20, 2008 Author Share Posted February 20, 2008 Finally myself and the hackintosh is finished ... I needed to reinstall 10.5.1 and use the SSE2 mode. I was sure that i would have SSE3 .... Nevermind. Error: TMSafetynet.kext (Time Machine I think) How do I fix this?
