ka911 Posted February 21, 2008 Share Posted February 21, 2008 I have q and I hope if any one can give me idea! 1. whey I can't boot Leopard with out installation DVD? 2. the only way I can boot to Leopard is but type "-x" safe mode. how can I fix this problem. this what I have found in Wiki Leopard Bootup freeze Issue: During bootup the system freezes with an error: Kernel Version: Darwin Kernel Version 9.1.0: Fri Nov 16 14:50:43; made by ToH:xnu-1228.0.2~1/Build/obj/RELEASE_I386 Resolution: Reboot your pc, and use the following flag at bootloader: "-x" but they did not say how to fix it. I think these ATI - grapfic cards aren't compatible, is that right? However it did work great with Tiger 10.4.8.
