Okay, after much trial and error, patching DVDs with SATA drivers, and so on, I finally got myself a working Leopard system on my Toshiba Satellite A215-S7433 (I know, "boo!"). I'm loving what I've seen so far, and already have Colloquy, Xcode, TextMate, and Transmission installed. However, all of this had to be done at 1024x768 (very uncomfortable on a widescreen, as anyone who has had to deal with it would know) and through a stolen CAT5 cable from one of my servers. Why? There doesn't seem to be any RTL8187B and RADEON Xpress X1200 drivers for Leopard.

I've installed the RTL8187L package for Tiger off of Realtek's site, but, alas, the manager app for that freezes as soon as I launch it. This is likely for two reasons:

  1. The driver is for the RTL8187L, not the RTL8187B
  2. The driver is also for Tiger, not Leopard

So, I'm stuck with an Ethernet cable that confines me to my room when I want to use the 'Net on Leopard.

In addition, for the RADEON Xpress X1200, nothing seems to work. I've tried Callisto, Katana, Natit, etc. and the kext always stays the same in the System Profiler: No kext loaded.

If anyone has the drivers for these components, I'd greatly appreciate it if you could post them or a link to them. Or even a guide on patching the pre-existing drivers, i.e. ATIRadeonX1000.kext and RTL8187Bt.kext. Thanks.

Edit: It is a RADEON Xpress X1200. Still can't find anything, though.
