Disable your RAID or use a separate single disk.

Then do a search for the many many posts about RAID incompatibilities :)

Break the raid assignments - then you'll have one disk for OS X, another for some less fruity OS.

I really am unaware of any RAID support shown by OS X in any product other than one of Apple's servers.

Allegedly, if you COULD get as far as the install screen, the Utility menu has an option for RAID formatting.

It might be possible to have a non-bios RAID assignment and have the Mac OS do its own RAID methods, which may include booting off the array once it's been created and formatted by the Disk Utility.

OS X 10.4.3 worked, but I installed windows vista and now I get tis message "still waiting for root device" when I try to boot OS X (in verbose mode), if I try to boot normally, after oine minute, a forbidden logo apeats on the apple logo.

Any idea? Vista also changed the dual boot menu.
