Thank you for reading my post...

 

I have the following configuration

 

CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo E6850

MOBO - Asus P5N32-E SLI

RAM - 2Ghz

Video Card: EVGA 8800 GTX (I Think)

Sound Card: SoundBlaster Live

Sata - HDD

 

 

I have a disc thats 10.5.1 and I boot from it...

 

I hit F8 then -x

 

it starts installing or whatever its doing and I either get 1 of three scenarios..

 

1.) I see an Apple Logo then a circle with an X in it

2.) I can choose my language then it starts to install then I get an error message then eventually a it changes a color and says I need to restart

3.) I can choose my language and its starts to install I see the box pop up and I go to dusk utlities try and format my blank Sata HDD and that drop

down tells me that I have to restart my PC.

 

I can use my wireless mouse so I must be doing something partially right but I am at a total loss.

 

Please help.

What you are "ultimately getting" is a kernel panic. That board is a pain in the ass to get working with SATA.
