NoMax
Hello, I am trying to boot a Kalyway 10.5.1 DVD in my PC and get the error "Configuration file /com.apple.Boot.plist not found" immediately after the DVD drive is read. I can press F8 and get to the boot menu, but no matter what I enter for "Boot:" it always goes back to the error message. I tried burning an additional DVD at slow speed, but it didn't help. I also tried installing in VMWare, was able to get past the error, but the installation always hangs at some point. I really want to avoid having to use VMWare. I tried the disk in a different PC that I can't use for this purpose and the installer loaded no problem at all - so I don't think there is a problem with the disc. My Hardware: MB: Asus Commando Graphics: nVidia 8800GTS HDD configuration: 2xSATA configured as RAID 1 2xDVD burners on internal jmicron IDE controller External USB HDD Using on-board NIC Creative X-FI Fatal1ty sound card PC is running Vista I want to install Kalyway to the external USB disk, and then be able to select what OS I want to boot at startup. (By pushing F8 at boot time I can select the boot device, and the external USB disk is one of the choices.) Thanks for any help!
