jkv Posted February 19, 2008 Share Posted February 19, 2008 Installed patched Atkos iso(r3)....went thru install completely, got green check that said to restart machine. Disk read error message. Put dvd back in an rebooted, it comes up with hd (31,1) and the OS version. I press enter with -v option and it hangs up with waiting for system root. How can that be if it installed ok. Somebody please help. I have invested so much time to get to this point. System specs are EVGA 680i SLI motherboard, Intel core2 duo 2.8ghz, 3 gb of DDR2 ram, geforce 8800gtx video card, segate Sata3 drive.
