SilentShade
Goof day time. Hardware: ASUS P5K, c2d, native FW port (agere chipset), TC Electronic Konnekt 8 FW Audio Driver version: 201_1405_107 (for intel mac latest version) OS: Kalyway Mac OS X 10.5.1 (updated to 10.5.2) pc-efi v8 + patched AppleHDA (for builtin audio) + NVInject (for GF8600GTS) + IONetworkFamily. All other software native. Problem: When any application tries to start MIDIServer, it crashes permanently. Feb 19 02:38:50 Macintosh com.apple.launchd[164] (com.apple.CoreMIDIServer[536]): Exited abnormally: Bus error Feb 19 02:38:50 Macintosh com.apple.launchd[164] (com.apple.CoreMIDIServer): Throttling respawn: Will start in 9 seconds Crash report included in attachement. Core Audio works well though. Also Logic 8 (Cubase LE and other MIDI vst/au hosts) are unable to initialize "tc integrator" vst/au plugins. Any suggestions? Is that a driver, rather then a hardware problem? Did anybody successfully use this device at OSX86? Any information is much appreciated.
