ridgecity Posted February 19, 2008 Share Posted February 19, 2008 I-m running a hackintosh and I-m planning to run maya (but probably on windows since I read mac maya is very buggy) Im choosing between buying a quadcore q6600cpu and a ecs 8800 gt 512MB video card. what-s better for me and will they run on a kalyway 10.5.2 mac without problems? "help me choose!" gives 0 information. I'm not an expert on Maya and it's performance issues, so you'll only get generalized responses from people who bother to look at a vague thread.
