djx18
I have a lenovo t61 with NVidia quadro nvs 140m 128mb Wireless/Ethernet: Not working Graphics: Not working - yet I installed Iatkos 10.5.1 r2 workes well. I updated to 10.5.2 and got it working. Then i installed the graphics update but my graphics card still has no resolution. On the forums i read to install the latest NVinjectgo however, once i install it i get a black screen after it osx boots. I then uninstall the nvinject and tried a different version of it (2.0.2c) but got same problem, black screen after boot. I tried installing the NVinstaller v .33 with 128mb of ram and editing the Plists with my dev id for Gforce, Nvinject, nvdaresman, and nvda50-40-30hal. After I did that i still got the same black screen after booting. PS. the bootloader sees my video card as 14mb of ram Need Help! THanks in advance! hackeron
Same problem here, anyone? Extracting the Leopard 10.5.3 update and manually copying the Nvidia drivers from it solved the issue. Strangely installing 10.5.8 doesn't replace the nvidia drivers - if you however extract the 10.5.8 update and replace the drivers manually, you get the black screen, white mouse cursor problem! -- So downgrade the Nvidia drivers to 10.5.3 - Unfortunately the drivers from 10.5.3 are buggy in Photoshop CS4 (distortion when going full screen). Anyone has a better solution? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/88517-lenovo-t61-graphics-help-black-screen/#findComment-1222537 Share on other sites
