The Baron Posted February 18, 2008 Share Posted February 18, 2008 I often fire up text edit for phone numbers, emails and various pastings. Once I've used them and moved on, TextEdit is in the background, behind Safari, Mail etc. If I decide to close TextEdit from the Dock, it stays hidden, so I have to click on the icon again to show the app. This is where I get frustrated. The 'Do you want to save the changes you made in the document “Untitled”?' dialog hides any text on the first few lines, so I have to 'Cancel' just to see if there is anything important hidden there.
