rott22 Posted February 18, 2008 Share Posted February 18, 2008 Hello everybody, when I saw u could install osx in a pc, I couldnt wait, well, Ive got a dv6000, did native install, Ive got half HD fur vista and half fur Leo(used kalyway 10.5.1) installed with no problems, can dualboot with no problems, about this mac shows its a core duo!!! quartx extreme and all the fancy stuff works out nicely.. any way, I just want to be able to connect to the internet, but the integrated intel thernet card doent work, when on network configuration, everything shows up greyed out, just leaving me the "Other" option.. running network diagnosis says that there's no cable plugged, but the little green light on the ethernet conn is on... so any way I've read and serched everywhere so I com here so that maybe someone can help me out???? children_of_the_dragon Posted February 18, 2008 Share Posted February 18, 2008 Dude, I've got the same machine/laptop as you...just recently screwed mine up with a 10.5.2 update, i have successfully installed all drivers and fixed isses (except wireless and sound). Ive read a solution but it is for tiger. how can I make the ethernet adapter to work???? How do I make the webcam work?? thnx btw, mine's a dv6265us sound works properly if u install azalia's out.. Replace your internal mini pci-e wireles card with Dell 1490 Wireless! (you need a bios hack, search in this forum!) rott22 Posted February 20, 2008 Author Share Posted February 20, 2008 dudeees bump bump, any way to get my ethernet working??? ethernet not wifi, I now it's not actually possible, Ive gone thru a gide that says Ive got to edit appleintel#### kext, and add the HW and vendor ID's to the info.plist, but they already are in there, any way, I've done that with no succes, even uses 10.4.9 kext with no succes even... and the webcam thing???? used usbcamera drivers from apple site, no way to get that to work plzzzz!!!! somebody help me.. Im totally lovin my HPMAC.... got some niceee apps already...
