linuxboi Posted February 9, 2006 Share Posted February 9, 2006 I Have used the famous tiger-x86-flat.img to install OSx86 To A partition On my drive, Darwin starts an starts up the intitial Grey boot screen, The Apple icon seems to have a Box over the top of it with a cross through it. My PC doesnt boot past that stage. Any Clues anyone. jbjonas Posted February 9, 2006 Share Posted February 9, 2006 does your cpu have SSE3? what motherboard & chipset are you using? unless you have some kind of compatibility problem, I would guess that there is a problem with the boot-DVD you created. I prefer the reliability of going the long way. -Download the DTK .dmg image for 10.4.3 -convert .dmg to .iso -download JaS patch -patch .iso and burn ----Important - check the md5 sums before and after each step- thats why they are there.
