hardware
Greetings all, How are you doing ? I hope you are all doing very well. I am one of the many folks who are using a SSE2 Pentium M Centrino systems. I am also one of the many folks who have the looping reboot issue. Today I booted up kalyway dvd and used the "-v" switch. I got the following error message :- Does anyone know what is wrong ? What does disk1s2:I/O Error means ??? This error message kept on scrolling up the screen one after another ... all the same I think some time ago certain folks using 10.4.X Tiger DVD had the same issue ... Does anyone remember how to bypass this error ? hardware
Ok Folks !!! I found the solution ... It was a "Faulty CD" !!! I was not happy with it all so I burned another iso image of kalyway with a different dvd burner and it worked ... I was able to get into the OS X Installer !!! I was speechless ... The funny thing was that the first DVD burned 100% successfully ... I had no idea absolutely that it was faulty ... until I burned the second DVD with a different DVD burner ... So there you go folks ... for me ... it is working ... I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO THANK EACH AND EVERYONE WHO HELP ME WITH MY PROBLEMS - ESPECIALLY YOU AND YOU ... THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR TIME AND EFFORT ... I REALLY APPRECIATE IT VERY MUCH ... Warmest Regards Hardware ...
