solution for 60hz in mac os x 10.4.8

Hi,

 

I have been installed mac os x 10.4.8 on my AMD Athlon X2 4100+ pc. I have been repaired the sound and internet problems. But still i did not get any help for the display problem. The problem is i get only 60hz refresh rate for display, i cannot increase the refresh rate to 75hz or 85hz. I got samsung syncmaster 793s and it will support 1024x768@85hz. I edited the boot file and wrote :

 

<key>Graphics mode</key>

<string>1024x768x32@85</string>

 

It worked but only the screen size but not the refresh rate it is only at 60hz. Also in display setting it is disabled. Please and please help me,

 

If any one wants help for sound problem please ask me.

AMD Athlon X2 4100+

Asus M2N-MX se

NVIDIA GeForce 6100 / nForce 430 ( onboard chipset )

Realtek ALC662 ( onboard chipset )
