I was very happy to find this forum while searching for my installation problems.

I think I have tried everything listed in this site in order to make it work.

My DVD is burned in the slowest speed possible

Power Management in BIOS is S3

Only SATA options are RAID and IDE (left in Raid since I am trying to install it on a IDE HDD)

My mobo is an Albatron PX865PE Pro II

VGA : GS7600 nvidia

2GB Ram

There are actually two errors produced .

1st ) When I choose the EFI bootloader After a couple of minutes it pops up the following error:

"The installer could not install the software because there was no software to install"

2nd) When I choose Darwin installer. The fwg error pops up:

" The installer could not validate the contents of th 10.5.1.Intel package"

All of the above with the patched r2 version since thne unpatched one didnot not even load the installer.

Beware I know nothing about MacOs. These are my first Steps....

Any Suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
