jez6345789 Posted February 13, 2008 Share Posted February 13, 2008 Hi As the happy Luddite here I wondered what the point was of bothering with EFI and vanilla kernal if you have to use the Kalyway updater rather than the apple and then add in the Kernal. I had rather hoped that having a system with EFI and Vanilla kernal for 10.5.1 kalyway would then allow me to upgrade direct from Apple and perhaps just fix a couple of kexts for networking etc. It seems from reading here that using the Apple update messes the system up completely Any comments from the more tech guys on whats going on would be appreciated. regards Jez Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
