Time Machine

Hi.

 

I'm using iAtkos 10.5.1 with vanilla MBR.

Can anyone tell me if Time Machine will back up my whole system drive?

And the EFI thing?

How do I restore it?

Can I restore to a completely new drive?

Do I have to prep the new drive first before restoring it?

 

As you can see I'm a bit confused about it all.

 

However, despite the sticky about it I can't even get it working yet.

With the 10.4.3 IONetwork kext I get 'cannot find backup device',

I change the IONetworkingFamily kext and I loose network.

I delete the Networking preferences, still no network.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated to get it to run,

but I don't want to spend a whole lot of mucking about if it doesn't back up the drive.
