Takaru
Is it because you restored with Timemachine? That's because Time Machine doesn't restore your EFI+Darwin Bootloader. What I did was do a fresh install and during the Leopard setup use your time machien to migrate your files into the new installation. Hope you backed up. Hope you backed up. ok, i fixed the problem... if you were so eager to update to 5.2 before reading anything about it...and jacked up your systems....here is what you do.... if you have backed up your system in time machine, start up with your favorite install disc. restore your system from the time machine back ups and repair disk permission... go to teminal and use this... sudo -s *password* cd /Users/XXX/Desktop/pc_efi_v80 ./startupfiletool /dev/rdiskXsY ./boot_v8 dd if=./guid/boot1h of=/dev/rdiskXsY bs=512 count=1 *at this point make sure all partitions are unmounted* dd if=./guid/boot0 of=/dev/diskX bs=400 count=1 the above lines are from the "i am...me" tutorial located here http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=73952 restart your system, and you should be fine...
