DanB91 Posted February 13, 2008 Share Posted February 13, 2008 i used to have kalyway installed on my system. it worked almost flawlessly. however when 10.5.2 came out i installed it, thinking EFI emulation would let it work. unfortunately, like all who installed this update, it kernel paniced and i had to reinstall the OS again. long story short, i manage to install it and say it successfully installed, but when i boot it using that drive and it just stays in the bios trying to boot. when i selected the options, i selected all options except the sse2 thing and guid boot thing. my comp is EFI capable and sse3 and is master boot record. ive reinstalled it a number of times and i dont know why the first installation worked perfectly and this didnt. i did all the same steps. i dont wanna be stuck w/ crappy windoze and my slow as hell ibook plz help Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/87317-problem-installing-kalyway/ Share on other sites More sharing options...

DanB91 Posted February 13, 2008 Author Share Posted February 13, 2008 i tried making my partition active and it still doesnt work. im gonna try to install iatkos r2 and see if that works, but i really want kalyway. no one knows how to fix this??
