jt2322 Posted February 13, 2008 Share Posted February 13, 2008 I'm running a Core 2 Quad on a Gigabyte P35-DS3R motherboard. Installed Leopard with the Kalyway disc and everything works great. The only thing I've noticed is that it doesn't recognize the processor. Does it make any difference? kujina Posted February 27, 2008 Share Posted February 27, 2008 I also got a Gigabyte P35-DS3R and a E8400 and I get "Processor 3 GHZ Unknown", also OSX only seems to boot if I have speedstep turned off (it was fine with the E6400 I had on the board). Including the "unable to display configuration....." error of About this Mac BUT the Sleep, Shutdown and Update works perfectly and seeing that I know what my specs are i didn't care!
