kmrastegar Posted February 12, 2008 Share Posted February 12, 2008 Hey, Im hoping i've joined the right forum, lol, im kind of in a bind. I just installed Leapord on my HP Pavilion dv5000 laptop (1gb Ram, intel centrino duo, intel onboard graphics). I installed the OS on a partition of my hard drive no problems, but when i reboot i get to the welcome screen and my laptop monitor just goes black. Sometimes i get all the way through the welcome to where i choose my country before it crashes, but most of the time it crashes during the welcome movie. I have tried installing with cpus=1 and this didnt help. does anyone have any ideas why my computer keeps crashing at this point? any help would be GREATLY appreciated Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
