unclemac
I just made a list and bought new computer ( will build it myself ). I will use it for office purpose, writing and maybe some image editing but nothing special that needs lots of time rendering or something. Here it is : Motherboard : Gigabyte GA-945GCMX-S2 Processor : Dual 2 Core E4500 (2,2) Graphic Card : Gigabyte Ati Radeon 2400XT 2 GB Ram (2x1GB) SATA Disk 2x80 GB ( I don't need bigger disk considering my usage ) Still looking for good case and power supply and will also add some wifi and cd-dvd unit. So did I screw things up with 2400XT Radeon. Will it work with hackintosh ?
Synaesthesia
I don't think the 2400xt is going to work so well, but i'm no expert. The onboard graphics are going to work fine until then. For wifi, remember, the wiki is always your friend.
unclemac
Thanks. Strange since if I remember iMacs have 2400XT. I am pretty sure I saw some apple computers with this graphic card. As for wifi. Yea pretty much will look what is proven to work.
Synaesthesia
Yeah, that's right, but they are not the most compatible cards...dunno why... The rest of your setup should work perfectly though, good luck!
Wrenbird
look out for the WG311T - it's on the compatibility list, but I'm having a hell of a time getting it to work.
