x986123 Posted February 12, 2008 Share Posted February 12, 2008 Leopard 10.5.1 my specs: MSI p6n Diamond 680i 8800gt 2gb ddr2 800mhz 160gb sata and 320gb sata X-FI soundcard Intel q6600 @ 2.4ghz quad core When i put in disk, i press f8 and type the commands from the guide for 680i and 650i mobos, -x -legacy cpus=1 and after saying the white text for a few seconds, it shows a boot screen grey with apple logo and loading sign, computer reboots and disk loads again, and reboot.. and so on... i followed this guide : http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...;hl=p6n+diamond and did all the bios settings, but it still wont work, even when i dont press f8 and let disk boot without -X options. Janek Flemyng Posted February 12, 2008 Share Posted February 12, 2008 try to insert the iATKOS dvd then pressing f8 then typing -v, if it load with a blue screen then a black screen try this = ... if you have a laptop try to pull out the power cord then leaving for 20seconds then closeing the lid with a timer set to 5 mins, go bk in 5 and lift the lid, press any button and the disk install should show on the screen hope this helps Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
