990 Posted August 22, 2005 Share Posted August 22, 2005 I have a p4 on an asus board. it supports sse3. Now Im going to install osx86 from deadmoo's image(the tiger-flat.iso) with the ubuntu method. Does anyone think that I should not install it through ubuntu and why not using the deadmoo image? after installation, what patches should be installed?(links would be nice). Any help is appreciated! BlueEyeZ Posted August 22, 2005 Share Posted August 22, 2005 I think that the patches you should install really depends on your systemconfig, there are so many mobo's, chipsets and possibilities that it's really hard to say. When I patched my install with the 0.3beta, I-Tunes started up but wasn't playing the audio properly, very distorted. Then I installed the 0.2beta patch AND after that the 0.1beta patch and that worked for me. I have now a fully functional install, the only thing that doesn't work is my wireless lan.
