forcedlogic
Hi all, After selecting different options on the cd I have come to this: When I select to install no options I can boot up prefectly from the dvd. I have tried every combo under the sun with vanilla, mbr (which is what the hard drive is set to), and SSE2. Nothing seems to work. When I install mbr my system loads but in one instance it cycles, in another the screen comes up with the apple logo and nothing goes no where. Any advice is appreciated. One setup did not see my keyboard. What options should I be picking? Is this a guessing game? I've searched the forums high and low for info and very few seem to be using P4's. Thanks. Synaesthesia
You can't use Vanilla kernel with a Pentium 4. Use a hacked SSE2 kernel. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/86866-p4-asus-p4s800d/#findComment-616998 Share on other sites
